Incongruous Mixture

by nonur

Shot in Istanbul, the Bosphorus.
The incongruous mixture of architectural shapes and styles seemed interesting.
Sorry for the distortion caused by shooting upwards.

What an interesting mix! I thought I'd like to live in the penthouse, until I saw the speaker on the tower and thought about the traffic on the bridge - noisy!

You might hear the hum of the cars may be at night, but you'll certainly wake up early at the morning prayer time, Paul. However, the well viewed gorgeous scenery of the Bosphorus from above will compansate it throughout the day, I'm sure. I'd personally prefer to live in the blackened traditionel wood house. Thank you!

Nice shot Nezih. I like the composition and the vivid colours.
We have a similar bridge in Budapest, that is called to Erzsébet Bridge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erzsébet_Bridge). The similarity was striking for me when I glimpsed this image among the thumbnails.

Thank you, Gábor! It must be croosing over the Danube. This is the second suspension bridge crossing the trait.

Very nice mixture of styles and colours, now if you could get to the top of that tower I'd love to see the view.

Russ.
