John, I'm just drawn to the humdrum...trying to make sense of things, I suppose. It's there, all of it, as well as the mountains, the beaches, the forests...
Bobin, It was Kris (Womble) who made me think again about the kit lens. He uses his and he's a top photographer (in my opinion). I kept it on the camera that day and used it for the old factory shoot (see "Downturn" in the Your Photos forum). As you say, it didn't let me down, although, to be honest, all of the interior shots had to have their verticals straightened.
