This was taken on Lindisfarne Island and thanks.
K-20D, Battery grip, Pentax 18-250mm & 50mm (Manual), 28mm (Bell & Howell) & Metz 'Mecablitz' 58 AF-1 flash. Manfrotto tripod with ball grip head.

Nice one Steve, the last time I tried to take a similar shot horizontal snow was blasting off the sea. I only tend to venture onto Lindasfarn in the winter, it's far quieter.

Always wanted to visit this place but it's a long way north...

Great shot, full of atmosphere, sense of place and history. Bet it wouldn't have looked anywhere near as good in colour.

Lovely shot and conversion, but if you don't mind me saying so you could crop a bit of the featureless grass in the foreground without loosing anything.
