This is something special, Andrew! I love the way the whole part of the sea to the left of the boat painted to turquoise with the reflection and the way it differs from the actual colour and shimmer of the sea on the right. And the position of the buoy and the moss at the buttom that tell the story of a drift and being neglected is something extra.

You always prove to us Andrew that the simplest of subjects can be the most delightful, plus the fact that you actually see them!

The thumb nail caught my eye and I was not dissappointed nicely done indeed Andrew very clever love the contrasting lines either side of the boat and the bouy breaks it perfectly ..
All the best

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thnaks everyone. What made this work is the ability to recover so much highlight detail from RAW files. The spot on the buoy was very far gone until post production rescued it!
Best wishes,

Andrew

Nice shot Andrew. I like the colours and reflections. Maybe it worked well too in soft or mid B/W.

Lovely simple shot. Beautiful image that most of us (me at least) would have just walked past and missed.

Like the wavy reflections and nice colour.
