Bluebells

by Colsyb

Spring is sprung in Kent. Bluebells can be cunningly difficult to photograph, both colour-wise and compositionally. They can look very raggedy and messy.
I like the subtle light in this image.

Hi,

I like the low view and the soft light in the out of focus background. Wish I could get that low and stand up easily afterwards

Thanks Bill,

The out of focus background is actually part of a large natural pond just down from the ridge where I took the shot.

I try not to sink too low to get my photos!

Wimp!
Sinking low is soooo easy, it's getting up that's a problem!

I agree about Bluebells being difficult to capture successfully, I'm not so sure the Bluebells are so obviou in this shot but the overall composition is eye catching and draws me in, the bokeh background are tree are vital

Thanks for your comments, and I agree with you, and re the bluebells, I'm a big fan of subtle! They are subtle but essential. I just wish I was 'supple'as well as subtle!
