Blue Heat

This is the image I shot for the recent "Energy" fortnightly competition.
I'm just putting it up now to get it into my portfolio.
A cooker burner going full blast.
Pentax K-7 with DA55-300 @ 230mm (to keep me & the camera away from the heat)
20sec, F22, ISO 200 & full D-range correction.
Disappointingly the day after I shot this there was news about a rise in energy prices and the newspapers were full of similar images

Nice shot. It is simple but clever. I like the colour of the flames' top.
