A l' Aube - At dawn
by Francisbd
Early morning departure for a walk in the Drôme Provençale. The sun slowly rises over the mountains of the Ventoux. Its still pale rays softly illuminate the landscape of lavender fields and vineyards. Only the song of a bird high in the sky just break the silence still king. The fresh air filled our lungs , the day will be beautiful !

Merci ! - Thank you ! I like many black and white too, but it's more difficult to apply that it is generally thought

A lovely evocation in words and picture but, why oh why black and white? Early morning light on lavender and olives, the Impressionists will be turning in their graves! Come on, we know you have the colour version somewhere.

Thank you for this relevant notice , Robert ! I personally find the black and white picture softer , less contrasted . However , that is gladly I post the color image, to compare and to have your opinions.
