Masshouse developments in Birmingham from Park Street. This street used to run all the way through and has some history if you take a look! Now cut off by HS2 work......the expanding skyline seeks to take advantage of HS2....hindsight is a wonderful thing!

A similar thing happened with the 'Highline' in New York. The embryonic development looked wonderful. Then developers realised the value of the zip code and they built and they built and they built. The Highline is now a dark canyon (in contrast to the original ideal of a linear public park). I wonder what this will look like in ten years' time? (If indeed one could see any of it).
