Red Table

I cant put my finger on why, but I find this a very captivating image. I think it might be the two reds and greens, plus the scrolls of metal that keep my eye wandering about the image. Well done.

I agree. The way the colours work between the objects is fascinating - was this set-up and did you push the colours at all in PP? The only minor criticism I have is that the large leaf at the bottom should have been removed.

It's interesting that this version has a slightly different crop to the one you posted in the Forum. I think I liked the tighter crop in the Forum better. You don't need to see much of the chair to know its a chair. In both versions I like the minimalist treatment of the subject and the wonderful colour. For me this is one of the more fascinating recent entries in the gallery.

Thanks for the positive words.

Tony - it was not set up, just happened upon it in a courtyard behind some shops. I did boost the colors just a tiny bit in PP, but not much.
