This is one of the series that depicts people living in the district which is undergoing a demolition due to a renovation project carried out by the municipality in down-town Konya. The district is the historical city and full of old and relatively new houses which have been generally inhabited by poor people.

Please: can someone explain to me what is bad and new and good?? Do you still believe such "s...t words"??. Thanks a lot, David!
And thank you, Giulio, you needn't to bother, of course I understand; and I think the same. The owners are to be paid, the problem is worse with the tenants. In terms of history, they will restore some and renovate others to keep the old texture and air, but it will never be the same.

I'm sad to know such stories. The same occurred in Florence 200 years ago!I read the story and I could't understand reasons of that choice. Today many historicians and architectures talk about a "crime"against history, peoples and town...but "the show must go on"...I suppose. Thanks that you're not angry with me.
