Stag Beetles

I was surprised to find this pair on my broad bean plants this morning. Fortunately they remained here while I went back for the camera & tripod. Having got the shot I retreated and left them in peace.

Thanks guys.
A large amount of luck was involved. I went out to inspect the beans for black-fly and was certainly not expecting to find this pair although from a distance they did have me worried .
