Soldier beetles,Ever since they commingled the military this sort of thing was bound to happen! - Super sharp, well spotted and the green stripe (stem?) in background right adds a sense of depth.

Yes the line in the background is from grass leaves. It was taken in the Lincolnshire fens, mixed grass with some wild flowers in it.

I wasn't sure whether the crop was ok. I cropped out more of the grass stem the beetles were on and left the leaf line in. It seemed less distracting that way.
