The old part of Frigiliana really suits the B&W treatment, especially if you're fit enough to manage all the steps and manage to avoid the crowds (which you've managed very well, Andrew - I hope you didn't have to get up too early!).

It was so hot the place was pretty well deserted. Myles. I do like villages like this. So different from the warm, mellow stone from round here.

You just had to do this in black and white Andrew, it suits the subject perfectly. I like the composition, its so well balanced but I think the white could do with a tiny bit more brilliance, it just looks ever so slightly dull.

Thanks folks. The exposure, as ever, is a problem in situations like this. I probably played safe with the highlights, afraid of losing them.
