I agree, great composition. Just love the Web Prints in the foreground, they give it that extra something.

Clearly one of yours, even from the thumbnail I like the little footprints in the foreground snow!

looks a bit like a view from Gotland - but I assume I am even in the wrong sea - lovely impression from a great landscape.

Yes, try Bristol Channel, Axel! (Always wanted to go to the Baltic. All that snow on the Danish island. Can't belive in thiry foot drifts!)looks a bit like a view from Gotland - but I assume I am even in the wrong sea - lovely impression from a great landscape.
Thanks everyone. So weird to see snow right at the sea's edge.
Best wishes,
Andrew

No David, it's the Welsh island of Steep Holm, a bit further up the Channel.

I love that rocky forground. The way the detail diminishes really gives a sense of perspective. A great black and white
subject.Did you use a tripod to get it so sharp?
I think Steep Holm is in Somerset, by the way, unless it has drifted. Flat Holm would be in Wales. Many memories of Weston-Super-Mare!
Best Wishes,
David W
