Towers of Gold, Feet of Clay

by hocusfocus

Years ago, a book was published detailing the sometimes sordid history of Canadian banks. The title was: "Towers of Gold, Feet of Clay". This photo is of the Royal Bank of Canada, the eponymous tower of gold, and rather accurately captures the colour of its towering exterior facade, which is made of actual gold bonded to glass.
