The exciting thing about same is the style of music he can play. He loves Jazz ( unfortunately, I don't) and those who know tell me that his timing, improvisation and creativity is second to none. He works with big bands, session music, rock and Jazz trios, he spent many years on the world's top cruise ships and I'm lucky enough to drink in the same pub he spends a lot of time in! and having the privilege of seeing a master at work.

I would highlight Peter King, John Surman and Iain Ballamy as fabolous British saxophone players. All of these play in the jazz idiom, so probably in a very different musical style from the saxplayer in your photo.
