I like the general composition, but was wondering do you have an alternative with the arch in sharp focus?

Thanks for the comment Steve. Sorry, I don't - my intention was to focus on the orange flowers and throw the arch and beyond OOF
f/3.5 wasn't enough - I didn't like the way the scene had no focus or "pull". The OOF archway is really what gives the 3D sense.

I think it's fine the way it is.
But I have yet to see any nice bokeh from this lens.
Please prove me wrong

I have But I can't show you the photos!

There may be some sharpening issues with the image here - at full res it seems nicer.

Personally I rather like that OOF rendition. When there's more distance between subject and distance then the OOF rendition is even better. For example, a portrait with a background that's waaay behind gets rendered wonderfully. I'll try and find something that shows it later...

I don't mind if you don't like it. I'm not parting with mine

Very nice Matt, excellent composition, and the light and colour look spot on.

But what does bokeh mean again!

I understand the point Matt and I agree you have definately created a 3D effect. I guess the problem I have is that I look straight past the orange flowers. I am not sure whether it is their size or colour, but my attention is drawn initally to the pink flowers and then I seem to work back from there
