Auditorium Stripped Out
by richandfleur
The Auditorium in it's stripped out state, prior to renovation.
This space had fixed tiered seating which has been removed. The building will undergo substantial seismic strengthening before being refitted back towards it's original internal fit out state.
This room is in the heart of the 'Old Main Building' being refurbished on the Massey University Campus, New Zealand.

Thanks all,
Pauljay, I had actually taken an HDR set for this shot, but thought keeping it like this actually recreated the vibe inside the auditorium. With no power on it was quite dark and eerie, for the very reason you mention, that you couldn't see into the shadows.
I guess I could 'mild' HDR it, but I think the softer approach makes it a bit more haunting. Thanks for the feedback.
