I keep a dustbin bag with a hole in the end in my kit for times like this. If the squall comes I just haul it over my head (pops through the hole) and hunker down. It keeps me and the camera dry! You've caught the scenario perfectly!

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
