Maastricht During Lockdown.

by pauljay

Just a few nights ago I came across a series of photos that I had taken of the normally bustling city of Maastricht, the Netherlands, during lockdown. I only ever posted one of those photos here and thus thought it might be worth going back six years to post a couple more as a reminder of conditions at that time. The Maastrichterbrugstraat is normally one of the busiest shopping streets in the city but during lockdown it became a ghost town, just as many other cities around the world. This is an HDR shot of the street on December 19, 2020 consisting of five exposures fused in Photomatix Pro.

Well caught well edited. Your picture brings me back at that nasty time. Hope never to meet those days again in the future.

It won't happen again Giulio. My apologies!

Paul don't worry and do not apologize. I'm not afraid of your pictures but of the use of lockdown confinement and so on.
