David, you have somehow given this rather simple shot a weird aura of strangeness; He looks like he has been traumatized & is about to be 'TAKEN' via the light !!

Top quality IMO, it has a nice touch of graininess almost a filmic quality. I should be getting one of these lenses through the post soon

When I saw this in the thumbnail I immediately thought of Duane Michals amazing portraits with this type of light. This is such a powerful portrait. Well done.
