You are completely correct about capturing this image it was simply a case of being in the right place at the right time.
I had gone to use my computer when I caught sight of this through the wndow so just grabbed the camera, turned it on and shot. I didn't have time to check the settings so that is why the shutter speed was 1/500s - I had left the camera on TAv from shooting some flower pics in a slight breeze.
Still - as they say 'carpe diem !'
