Aachen HBf

Not as impressive as Berlin perhaps but it still displays a cross section of life. Unfortunately, the young couple in the foreground of the shot appeared to be undergoing a break-up as the tears were flowing freely and thus I didn't want to intrude by taking more photos.
Five shot HDR treated in Photomatix.
K-5/Tamron 28-300mm

Sad about the couple

Otherwise I rather like the effect here - ie to me it doesn't pretend to be real; it looks HDR!

A good capture, IMHO. Aquisgrana in the Italian Language. Tomb of Charles Magnum....I spent there one week for a training course more than 10 years ago. Wonderful Town.

Great image Paul! I like the way the shape of the train's roof is echoed in the roofs of the platforms. I also like the way the roof support divides the narrative into two elements - the couple breaking their journey of their life together and the way the train on the adjacent platform represents a journey out of their current situation. The warm colours add a sense of hope for both the young people. Great documentary photography of a moment in time
