1940's Haworth from the hip

by DaveHolmes

Was so busy at the Haworth 1940's day that I gave up trying to 'compose' shots... Instead I stuck on the Tamron17-50 and a flashgun, got an exposure and walked about shooting from the hip... Made a rule not to look at screen til I got home, figuring I'd have to crop later... Got 30 or so OK shots and had a fun afternoon...

I do enjoy events like this.
Best wishes,

Andrew

It was as bad on Saturday David - and I pretty much ended up doing the same as you in the crowds and taking composed shots on the fringes of the event - haven't even looked at the crowd shots yet - will do today

This grab shot has that 'decisive moment' feel to it that I like very much.
