Saxophone Bridge

by paulb531

I came across this unusual street furniture last week while touring Belgium on my bike. The town of Dinant was the birth place of Mr Sax, the man who invented the saxophone.

There is a very nice bar at the far end of the bridge...
it is hidden from view here by the last saxophone on the left!
It has a "menu" of over one hundred different beers...
including the wonderful "Sax"...
from the nearby Caracole brewery.
Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...
"Give a thousand photographers...
the same camera, lens and scene...
and you'll always get a thousand different takes!!"

Thanks for that dromfit - I intend to return. My first time touring Belgium and I really enjoyed it. Cycling along the river Meuse was the highlight coming across places like Dinant along the way. I took my Pentax K5 for the first time on tour and will put a few pictures on the PU site soon.

Regards

Paul
