Walked that railway yet? A friend just sent me a link to a forum which had a discussion about a new (potash?) mine being opened between Scarborough and Whitby and which will probably need to be connected rail. Interesting prospect.
Lovely shot by the way!
Paul.

Excellent shot, fantastic colours in the reflections. It's a pity that you couldn't have lengthened the exposure time a bit more (I suppose you didn't have any darker filters with you)? With an exposure of 15 secs or more this would have smoothed out the water and made the shot even better!

Hi Paul - it was too cold yesterday - will check out the rail track next time - but I did take the time to look at the landscape - and now I know where to look- I can see where the track probably ran - and a building that looks as if it could have been a station.

Hi David - totally agree - and you are correct in your assumption - a Big Stopper is on Santa's list

Nice sky, beach with the sea rolling in, and the colours are excellent. If all movement is smoothed out I find you can loose such a lot which makes the original scene work. Not being a big fan of water with long exposure this I find is perfect as it is.

I like two lines of wood-rods that drive eye to the center.
