Saddles

by nonur

There are only two saddler's shops left in Taskent and they were closed, as people do not need to ride on horses, mules or donkeys any more. These layers of felt and the saddles were left at the front of one of the shops. Unfortunately, local handicrafts are rapidly vanishing.

It's very sad. There are so many things of the past that we've forgotten how to do in this fast moving modern world. Your lovely shot is a good memento.

I think your old equipment is maybe a bit more interesting than mine! Great shot again Nezih.

I wonder how quickly these wonderful sights will disappear when you join the EU, Nezih? Lovely range of tones and textures.
Best wishes,

Andrew

This is a really sad story. But the shot is great and the conversion is fine.
