Simple and beautiful again, Andrew. First I thougt it was an achor in the thumbnail. Should be viewed large to see the better of it, though. Stone, iron, wood and colour and life. Love shapes and the textures, especially the rust and simple ornament on the hinge holder. It only needs just a bit more light, perhaps.

You have a trademark that is instantly recognisable in the thumbnail Andrew - and this lives up to the expectation when you open it up full size. The old door and rusty hinge would have made an interesting picture but the addition of the colour from the bloom makes it very artistic.

Thanks both, glad you appreciate it. Taking the shot was really a no-brainer: the contrast between fresh foliage and the old door furniture was striking.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I viewed it once again at night and to my surprise I found that it was adeqately lit. The light here is so much around during the day that it makes one think like that.

That's a beaut Andrew! You should make up a photo album entitled "The Doors". Actually, I have an album entitled "The Doors" from 1967!
