Rescue mission
by AlJones2402
Had an invite to go and watch and shoot Mountain Rescue and Rescue 936 Sikorsky heli on a training exercise in Snowdonia.
Was quite a job standing still let alone trying to hold the the camera steady with the downdraft from the rota blades.

Yes quite close Karlo. Very blustery with the downdraft and lots of debris thrown around.
I'm keeping the K5iis and a couple of lenses as spare so my son can use when visiting.
I can't tempt you with the 150-450mm? produces excellent results. ; )
If I had a body to match such as the N***N 500 then I'd absolutely be keeping it.
Hope to catch up with you at some point.

Yep, hope to catch up too before long Al.
I'm just getting used to the 150-500...but it is a lump to cart about! My favoured range would be 100-400 or so.
The Sigma 120-400 would be pretty good if they still made it but that is about as far as i'd like to go size and weight wise for carting about.
Now, if I was taking shots from a photo hide of wildlife, then...

I assumed it must have been taken with a medium telephoto...then saw 43mm! You must have been close.
Good to see you've kept some of the Pentax gear.
Regards
Karlo
