Wonderful capture.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Well captured and its my favourite rapture as well. The very first one that i saw, was also in Wales and nowadays, ive seen one or two in the Durham area..Liked.

Thanks David and Tommy. I've never seen so many raptors in one place before. There were dozens of Red kites in the air.

What a belter of a shot - liked. The sky background is great too - well done.

Magnificent!

Thank you loadoftripe and Grodgeman. The out of camera sky was totally flat and made the bird look like a cutout, so it needed some digital help to add some drama.

Absolutely fabulous image...definite POTW contender.

Being able to shoot at 1/2500th second and 1600 ISO has made a big difference here.

Well Done...and not even with DA*300!

Thank you very much Karlo.

Alas I don't yet own such a desirable piece of glass.

I've just upgraded to the K1 from the K5 so the only full frame compatible glass I have are some vintage manual lenses.
