Purple Springs

The Hitite monument at Eflatun Pınar (Purple Springs). They usually had built monuments and ponds for their gods wherever they found a water source. This one is located 7 kms away from the East coast of Beyşehir Lake.

Great picture Nezih, I am going through your 'back catalogue' by the way! I hope to see this one day. I have been to the old mosque in Beyshehir and loved that. We stopped for a fish lunch at the lake so missed out on Eflatun Pinar. Next time perhaps.
Best wishes

Thank you for that kind offer, Nezih. I hope to make it one day soon.I have been to Boyazkale and Yazilikaya, many years ago, and have been fascinated by the Hittites ever since. If you come to the U.K. let me know, we have some interesting places too. [email protected]
