Shot today in York where there was a huge gathering of Mods and Bikers outside the Castle Museum.
It's not often I do a colour pop, but I couldn't resist it on this particular subject.

Clever stuff David, the surreal effect is palpable and instantaneous, judicious use of the colour pop. I suspect you may have used Gaussian Blur on this, though I could be way off the mark)

Hi Jim, thanks for the comments! No Gaussian Blur at all on this one, but I have combined three layers to get the final effect. One layer is the coloured parts, the other two are a combination of two different processing methods in black and white.Clever stuff David, the surreal effect is palpable and instantaneous, judicious use of the colour pop. Some of the effect is down to the lens used (SMC K135mm F2.5). This particular lens is something of a star IMHO and renders images with a lovely quality, very sharp where you need them to be but with smooth out of focus areas.
