Excellent. Love the mono and also the super 9F - one of the best classes of steam locos ever built in the UK. BR started scrapping them almost as soon as they had finished building more than 200 of them in the 1960s. A criminal waste of public money.

Smashing capture and great mono. Steam trains were made for black and white photography.

Wonderful shot of an iconic class of locomotive. As David Trout comments, they were being scrapped almost brand new simply because they were steam locomotives.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
