PANO Grande
A pano of 8 vertical frames edited in Affinity Photo pano mode. Image has been entirely edited in Affinity. This sw is now FREE by Canva, since half of June 2026. This is my first go with it. See EXIF. Tripod. PENTAX DA LENS 12-24mm at 18mm .....a GREAT LENS. Place: ITALY, Piano Grande (mirror translation: Large Plain)......but I played with words because this is a "Large" pano of Piano Grande....so I deleted letter "i" from Piano word.
PS I find Affinity a very interesting and reliable sw even if I still have troubles to find complete and reliable instructions (and workflows) about it, on the web.

I have been ( Simply) lucky. As I said on June 28: POTW candidate.
Anyone who has the patience to create an eight-frame landscape shot is not "Simply Lucky!!"
And don't say "the software did it!!" I don't believe you... it wasn't there beside you when you saw the scene... it didn't tell you to take 8 vertical slices rather than one picture and crop it.... no, this is the result of hard work on your part....
Is the blue from Cornflowers, btw?
Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...
"Give a thousand photographers...
the same camera, lens and scene...
and you'll always get a thousand different takes!!"

Thank You Dromfit. You're right.....but we have never to forget that we are not so clever to get right results. I have not played with lottery ...in that case luck is at first place.....but even managing our own skills, most times, our works are under the control of external influences....luck is among these.....Jacques Monod wrote a very interesting book, many ya " Chance and Necessity".....I ought to call Luck...Chance and this could sound even better, IMHO.GIULIO57 wrote:
