Nice shot - I'm not normally a fan of photoshopping out things but in this case I do think the image without the one way arrow would be improved. Such a shame for me that so much of our urban landscape is so cluttered with such stuff.

Ben I agree that the one way sign is not good and does nothing for my photo. I'm quite happy to manipulate and change certain types of images but this type of record shot I usually like to leave as true to life as possible. No doubt the image and the location would be improved by the signs removal.
As Stan says Ely is well worth a visit.

Super shot of Ely, I love that place and above all its Cathedral but haven't been for a number of years. I believe its one of three locations that lay claim to being England's smallest city. I must get back there.
