Polish Easter Eggs

by Peter Elgar

Seen in Krakow Market Square -- there were many of these decorated eggs -- I used my 1975 KX loaded with outdated Fuji Velvia 100 rated 80 ASA -- a lot of the slides were under-exposed a bit - when I checked the KX meter with a good Weston Master using the Incident Light method I found the KX was under-exposing by half a stop. I had my suspicions the last time i used it on the Great War tour around Ypres in Belgium that was with some Fuij Sensia 100 Mk II and they were a 'bit dark' .

A technical achievement of some note when the Photo Info is absorbed. Kudos for the stik-to-it, ness. Egg variations remind me of a polish breakfast easter, as a child. Excellent image.

I'd love to bring my KX out of retirement but I've got an SL and a H3V to re-activate first! Beautifully colorful shot Peter!
