Ian did your uncle do any photography? Whats the story behind the pocket watch? I am now curious!

My late uncle was an inspector on the buses and used this watch regularly in his job. He wasn't a photographer, but I came across his old watch and decided to photograph it from various angles and, like yourself, try out different lighting. I have taken about half a dozen shots, two of which I have posted here. I always like to recieive constructive criticism. Helps us all to be better at our craft.
Best wishes

Thanks for the info Ian, now i know. The only tip i can pass on in relation to lighting products such as watches and bottles is that Tracing paper really helps diffuse the light, it works really well by removing hot spots etc.
