One often sees Peacocks but rarely the hens ?
Best keep clear of those claws !

I think it’s actually a guinea fowl? But I’m no expert.

You may well be right. It's just that it was seen with some peacocks ?

After a bit of research I have to agree !
Apparently, since they are from the same family, Peacocks and Guinea Fowl often interbreed so it's probably why I saw them together.
(Strange, the things you learn from this forum !)

It’s à pintade…. Often our Christmas meal… much nicer than turkey!
