Thanks guys.
We did see a few close encounters but nothing really dangerous although i'm sure the odd miscalculation happens.
There is a large flattish area on top with grass which acts as the initial run up to lift off and also the landing zone.
Had I known these were going to be there (my first time up Mam Tor) i'd have packed my DA*200...as it was i had to make do with my SMC A 35-105 f/3.5 sans hood.
