Lovely shot John,I haven't managed to get a shot of one yet each time I see them I am with the missus and she just won't give me any time to take a photo.

As for the food it's actually a cockle viewed from the side.

Pentax K7 and K5 and several black tubey things with magnifying glass in that twist around and move in and out - to be honest I am not sure exactly what I have. Will list the proper names one day..

Just had a thought ... Cockle Catcher hasn't got the same ring to it its actually got its top beak inside of it..

Thanks for the info Pete. Im very lucky my wife was with me, and was carying the istD + lens as well, (Im so lucky)
