On Salisbury Plain

On Salisbury Plain

Photo Information
Snapped today on a lane going up to the Plain.
Quite pleased with the piccy, but I would be even more so, if I knew what species it was!

Any assistance in identification would be most welcome.

Brilliant sharp shot and lovely pose. Yes, another one for the female stonechat.

Thanks for your interest, everyone!

I "stalked" this bird, from the car, as it went from section to section of the fence. It was on the left of the track, meaning I was able to view through the open passenger window, which gave more discrete shooting
It was really good light, but there was a very stiff breeze into which the bird faced. Its reluctance to turn around led to the "look over the shoulder" pose to see what I was up to!

I have no idea what it is, but it is certainly a great photograph.
