I'm not 100% sure about the blurred effect but I do really like the tones and framing.
I'm getting to know the 'signatures of people who post on this Gallery and I knew this was yours as soon as I saw the thumbnail. What a superb, timeless portrait, Nezih.
I'm not 100% sure about the blurred effect but I do really like the tones and framing.
However, I must admit that I find the blurred effect a bit too much and it makes me 'dizzy' looking at it !
Can you try re-posting with less heavy blurring ?
Otherwise, as said above, great capture and well worth recording
Best regards
Peter

shared the opinion of its predecessor!
"Probably" is a snapshot? 1/10sec.i EXIF other parameters, it was not possible for more than supplied!
In such case to reduce the size of the grain (noise), increased the contrast and sharpness!

Thank you, guys! It's not easy to find the original shot now, but I have two more worked versions which look similar. The fact is that, originally it was not a good shot. We was sitting at a crowded café a little far from me and moving his head sideways all the time, I did not want to attract the attention of other customers nor I wanted to disturb him, so the best shot I took was not sharp, and that was the main reason I had to use effects to make it look better. That's the story about the blur. I am sorry also because he was maybe the oldest man around and was a perfect subject for portrait work.
Regards,
Nezih

I like this very much, I understand the other comments, but I think the blur adds to the photo, just my opinion though. Best wishes to you Patricia

What a great character. Nice capture, effective treatment. I too like the Silver Efex Pro, it's one of my favourite tools.
