Thanks David for your encouraging comments. I can only aspire to take landscapes like yours!
The contrast between the yellow field and the sky is harsh, although that's how it was in reality. If I swing the hue in the field towards red the image becomes much calmer.

The line between the crop leads the eye into the distance and gives this image depth.
