Just beginning to play around with HDR. This shot, which was hand-held but with the camera firmly lodged, consists of just three frames taken from the Empire State Building looking north-east. Treated with Photomatix I think it's a tad over-cooked but I guess that's just part of the learning process.
Like fish-eye effects I think HDR is OK in small doses.

You're flying high, Paul, but the result is good. Nice shot of the big apple with the right amount of HDR. I like this!

I also have photomatix - a learning curve! I like the effect you have here - it works well.
Would be interesting to see the 3 original shots as well, though!
