No, it isn't a Trioplan

It's a DA*300. wide open at f4 with a wet fuschia bush about 3ft behind the dahlia.

It mightn’t be a Trioplan but it does do lovely bubbles bokeh

Send me the money and I'll buy that DA*300. Been on my radar too. And look: a floral that is brilliantly different from the typical floral seen on this site. Like.

Some might recall that I was cussing this lens to high heaven and back because it wouldn't focus properly and I thought I had a lemon. I had completely forgotten that, when I bought it, I got a 'slim' UV filter to protect the front element. You could hardly see it was there. Take it off - instant excellence. I still replace it when I'm done but now I remember to remove it before I use it and to get the hood on, quickly.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
