New Worlds 180

by johnriley

I needed a quick and impromptu image of this magazine cover, so used the I-10 hand held. It made me realise how easy close up photography has become. When I had my first serious camera (Konica Auto S2) I couldn't have got anywhere near close enough, would have waited three weeks for the film to get back from the processors and then would have had to cut a print to size or order a reprint. Then sent it to PU to be printed in the next "fanzine" on the rotary copier....and today, quick click, onto the computer, onto the web all within five minutes. Amazing.

Looks like the Maharishi Yogi, must be late 60's vintage given the price of 5 shillings

Beat generation style. It reminds to me life of 30-40 y.ago.

I like the contrast between his religion and hers!
