NATO E-3A Sentry
One of a fleet of fourteen aircraft flown by multinational crews from fifteen member states from their main base at Geilenkirchen in Germany. They operate out of several alternate airfields as well depending on the mission requirements.
Although these aircraft are the earlier 'A' model they have undergone several upgrades and are due to remain in service until at least 2031 when they will start to be replaced by the twin engined E-7 'Wedgetail'.
