Very dramatic - and cold, by the look of it!
The dynamic range of this one must have made it very hard to pull off.

Another superb image Bjørn. As David mentions - must have been difficult to pull off with the dynamic range there!

Well, I took images from this POV with both my Pentax 67ii loaded with Fuji Velvia 50, and the K20D + DA18-55mm. The Velvia images did not turn out to be successfull, my exposures ended up beeing too dark (I should probably have used Kodak Porta 400 instead). But the K20D RAWs managed to capture the scene, without the use of any ND grads. All I had to do was work with the WB, bring up the shadows by 15 (out of 100), and tame the highlights slightly. Maybe the shadows still are a bit dark, but I believe I prefer the resulting great dynamic range.
