Monsoon Storms

The Southwest Monsoon from above, over the Bay of Bengal. I posted this on the forum, the letterbox crop here was the suggestion of Dr Orloff. I like it.

Yup top dog stuff. I think I prefer it without the crop as it looked more haunting surrounded by black, definatley a poster.

It looks really good. I like the nice lights and purple tones. Well taken shot.

I downloaded the original so I could look at it big. And I played around. There was more detail in the base than evident from the small version. Having done that my favourite crop would be 16:9 ratio, keeping all the foregroud and losing from the top but it leaves enough to frame the drama.
