Milky Way with cloud Ynys Llanddwyn, Anglesey UK August 2018

by newbiek50user

The photo was taken shortly before midnight. There was still some cloud obscuring part of the Milky Way - I gather that soon after I left at midnight the cloud cleared. This photo is a single frame - no dark frames used and the only post-processing was in Lightroom Classic. The camera is a Pentax K50 used with a Sigma 10-20 mm f/3.5 lens 25 seconds @f/3.5 and 20 mm. The lighthouse is Twr Mawr.

Armed with a K3, some M, A, FA, DA, and star lens. With an eye open for "just one more lens".

looks just like a Breugel painting !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
